Steve Connor
BSc (Hons) PGCert MRPM RCPS (Glasg) MRCPod
MUSCULOSKELETAL & SPORTS PODIATRIST
&
CHIROPODIST
Steve is a podiatrist specialising in sports injuries of the foot, ankle and lower limb.
He often gets asked what’s the difference between podiatry or chiropody. "Technically, there is no difference and they are used interchangeably. Podiatry however, is better known internationally and has more medical associations. In the NHS for example you would see your podiatrist not your chiropodist.
You need a university degree to become a podiatrist but some chiropodists do not have these qualifications. Therefore it is always advised to seek a qualified podiatrist/chiropodists which can be found at https://rcpod.org.uk where you can search for your local podiatrist."
